I have released a new video about Transformer and coil design. In this video I replicate the with Metglas created video on YouTube with Ferrite cores. I will also demonstrate how ferrite cores are superior in performance. I drive a 43 Watts LED load with a small flyback transformer and show how small inductance changes can increase the performance to achieve an output over 100%. Important for those interested is that asymmetrical alignment is key as nature dictates.
