Summary
The test does require that we drive the base of the transistor here from the
evaluation board to achieve the amplification via the ring core. A direct drive
of the loudspeaker is not successful, even if current would be very high. My
test was done down to 1 volt base voltage where the wave did reach about
30 Volt only. The frequency here to tune comes from the ring core and not the
Nathan Stubblefield core. As mentioned many combinations need to be tested.
A direct drive of the battery as drawn in my diagram did not achieve high values.
A different concept need to be applied. I will however show all instances that
you can draw your conclusion and help you save time for development.
I am encouraged with the result but see also the downside I need to address.
A gap analysis can currently not be provided until we have done many more
tests over time. This will also lead to introducing new components and wiring
setup. In my next test I will excite the Nathan Stubblefield coil direct instead
of the ring core to provide you with the base features of it.
