I have released a new video under the research section. In this video I summarize and calculate impedance of the pancake coils in the scalar network. I ignore the resistance of the coil itself because in the grand scheme of the determination of the impedance it does not matter. Here the calculation does show a dilemma. The design of an impedance transformer fails because the real impedance is unknown based on a stealth negative resistance. Only trial and error is currently leading to success.
