At that time, I already said that they are not well designed to achieve high performance and did buy because of that the coils from Prof. Dr. Konstantin Meyl. However, I have many of them and it is worth to test them. I did build new top loads which everybody can build very cheap. To purchase a sphere or doughnut shape top load in aluminium is very expensive and can be replicated with Styropor / Polistiren balls.
