I like to announce the availability of the latest video in the Amplifier and Configurations series. Some time ago I tested Half-Bridge IC’s on the breadboard and compared them. I found the best Full- Bridge performance from the NCP5181 IC. We achieved at 10 Volts 11.1 KV and consumed 3.9 Watts. Now that I printed a PCB for these Half-Bridge IC’s I repeat the test. Target voltage from the load is again 18.1 KV. Have a look how much we improved the performance. You find the video under /research/courses/electronics-design/amplifier-design-and-configuration/. This video is only available to members.
