I like to announce the availability of the latest video in the educational series of Amplifier Design and configuration. I demonstrate the difference between Zero Voltage switching and adjustable deadtime. While the analogue signal provision via a centre tapped transformer is simple enough to use it does however lag in tuning and the higher components count and costs. No consideration is required for the fixed ratio of deadtime of a centre tapped transformer the opposite is the case with half-bridge IC’s. You find the video under /research/courses/electronics-design/amplifier-design-and-configuration/. This video is only available to members.
